Tungsten C styluses
I broke my Tungsten C stylus. Palm is still working on going out of business, but they have managed to stop selling almost all PDAs and, of course, the stylus replacements I need.
Belkin and other companies make replacement styluses in a 3-pack, but they’re one-piece plastic. “One-piece” means no reset pin, which is handy to have sometimes. Plus, I don’t like the way the plastic styluses feel. (The one that comes with the T|C is a heavy metal stylus.) Lots of other places, particularly eBay, have styluses that are combo pen/stylus. I kind of fear issues with fitting into the T|C and general breakage with these. (Or accidentally using the pen tip on the T|C and scratching up the screen.)
If you’re looking for the original Palm Styluses, look for part number P10958U or P10979U. It seems the Tungsten C and the Tungsten W shared the same stylus. The above part numbers seem to refer to a 3-pack of styluses that fit something like the T|C, T|W, T|E and Zire Z72, by virtue of having replacement “quills,” i.e. the little black plastic piece on top.
I was able to find at least two or three auctions for on eBay that fit the bill. I also found a handful of places selling one of these part numbers on Froogle and Amazon.
